[CogSci] Multiple Research Positions at the Language Processing Laboratory, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

The Language Processing Laboratory at the Department of Linguistics and
Modern Languages, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, is recruiting
postdoctoral researchers and research assistants. Applicants with research
experience in the following areas will be given priority:

·      Relevant research experience in psychology, neuroscience, or
human-machine (language model) interaction;

·      Research experience related to language models;

·      Strong research skills in data science, machine learning, deep
learning, or natural language processing.



*Postdoctoral Researcher to be Based at the CUHK Shenzhen Research
Institute in Shenzhen*

This position is offered by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen
Research Institute. Applicants must meet the following conditions:

·      Must have obtained a Ph.D. within the past three years, be in good
health, and be 35 years old or younger (inclusive);

·      Must commit to full-time postdoctoral research work. Directed
training personnel and active military service members need to provide
proof of their employer's consent to engage in full-time postdoctoral
research;

·      Employed individuals may not conduct part-time postdoctoral
research, and the training institution may not recruit postdoctoral
researchers from its original employees;

·      Applicants who have received outstanding Ph.D. awards, hold
invention patents, or have participated in major national/provincial
projects are preferred.



*Postdoctoral Researcher to be Based at CUHK in Hong Kong*

For postdoctoral researchers in Hong Kong, there are no specific age or
employment requirements. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a related field
such as computer science, linguistics, or cognitive science.



*Research Assistants to be Based at CUHK in Hong Kong*

Applicants should have a master's or doctoral degree in computer science,
linguistics, or cognitive science.

*Position Benefits*

·      Flexible starting date (the sooner, the better);

·      Initial contract period of two years (reviewed annually), with the
possibility of extension to the third or fourth year depending on funding;

·      Salary is based on research experience, conforming to the salary
scale of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with pension and medical
insurance provided.
