The Department of Psychology at Binghamton University, part of the State
University of New York (SUNY) system, is seeking exceptional candidates for
a tenured Associate or Full Professor position to begin Fall 2025.

This appointment, sponsored by the SUNY Empire Innovation Program, is
broadly construed at the intersection of computational cognition and mental
health. This entails integrative research that connects the study of the
human mind, the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) and/or
data science methods, and applications to mental health and wellness. A
primary focus for the search is externally funded research that leverages
machine learning and/or other computational approaches to study cognitive
processes along with their role in psychiatric and neurological disorders,
dysfunctional cognitive aging, or other aspects of mental health broadly
construed.

Application review will begin November 15, 2024, and will be ongoing until
the position is filled.
