Dear All,

We announce the call for papers for

Disordered Temporalities – Toward Quantitative Phenomenology

conference in Heidelberg (Germany)!

The workshop aims to present and discuss the possibilities of overcoming
the issues of:

   - the reliability of the phenomenological approaches to empirical
   research;
   - and the lack of validated, phenomenological psychological research
   tools for objectifying temporal experience.

The workshop will take place in the University of Heidelberg Psychiatric
Clinic.

The keynote speakers are:

   - Alexander Kranjec (Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, USA);
   - Giovanni Stanghellini (University of Florence, Italy) – online;
   - Marc Wittmann (Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology and Mental
   Health, Freiburg, Germany).

To participate with a talk, please send a 300-500 word abstract to:
phenomenologymentalhealth at gmail.com by the 15th of April 2024.

Please, plan your talk for about 30-40 minutes.

Accepted participants will be notified by the end of April.

The speakers will have accommodation and meals covered for them during the
workshop.

PhD students and early and more experienced researchers from multiple
disciplinary perspectives are welcome to participate.

The workshop's institutional organizers are:

   - Phenomenological Psychopathology section at Heidelberg Psychiatric
   Clinic (Germany);
   - Philosophy of Mental Health Unit at the Department of Social Sciences
   and the Humanities, Poznan University of Medical Sciences (Poland);
   - Phenomenology and Mental Health Network, The Collaborating Centre for
   Values-based Practice in Health and Social Care, St. Catherine's
   College, Oxford (UK).
