My apologies if this is inappropriate. I have been interested in learning how cognitive science can contribute to epistemology, but my local public library has absolutely nothing on this subject. So I'd like to offer my writing/editing services to cognitive scientists as a way to learn about the subject.

I'm a multi-discipline technical writer with a BS in Engineering, an MS in Technical Communication, and over 30 years writing and editing experience.

In graduate school, I conducted both primary and secondary research. I conducted extensive research into wind turbine siting issues, including surveying stakeholders and researching the effects of different communication methods on stakeholder consensus. I have also conducted extensive literature research for my books. I've written three novels and a nonfiction book. (I recently completed the fourth draft of my book on hypnosis and sexual health). I've also published two peer-reviewed articles; one in Energy Policy, and one in Team Performance Management.

If anyone needs a technical writer or editor, please feel free to reach out.

Subject: [CogSci] Call for workshop proposal at FRCCS 2024

The fourth edition of the French Regional Conference on Complex Systems (FRCCS 2024<https://iutdijon.u-bourgogne.fr/ccs-france/>) will be held in Montpellier, France. This single-track international conference serves as a platform to foster interdisciplinary exchanges among researchers from various scientific disciplines and diverse backgrounds, including sociology, economics, history, management, archaeology, geography, linguistics, statistics, mathematics, and computer science.

FRCCS 2024<https://iutdijon.u-bourgogne.fr/ccs-france/> invites proposals for workshops on May 28, 2024, as precursors of the main conference. These satellite events are full-day or half-day meetings focusing on a specific topic of Complex Systems domains. All subjects are welcome.

Workshops allow discussion of novel issues in a small and interactive atmosphere. They can concentrate in-depth on research topics and be devoted to application domain problems. Multidisciplinary workshops that bring together researchers and practitioners from different communities are particularly welcome.

We strongly recommend organizers to aim for diverse and engaging programs. Specifically, when designing your workshop format, consider going beyond the typical format of paper presentations. Workshops provide an opportunity for exploration of interesting topics through various means such as discussions, demo sessions, invited talks, and panel discussions.

PROPOSAL CONTENT

Submit proposals in a single PDF file between 2 to 4 pages, providing (at least) the following information:

1. Workshop Title

2. Presentation: a brief description of the specific issues the workshop will address, why it is of interest, the main research areas involved, and what it will add to the conference.

3. Contact information of the organizers: names, affiliations, and emails, with the mandatory indication of one contact organizer.

4. Expected format of the workshop: Invited talks, oral presentations, poster sessions, panel discussions, challenge sessions, or other ideas for ensuring an interactive atmosphere,

5. Length/duration/0.5 or 1 day

6. Potential Invited Speakers (Overlap with the main conference keynotes speakers are discouraged)

7. Expected number of submissions (A preliminary list of speakers confirmed or pre-contacted is a plus to be indicated in the proposal).

8. Expected number of participants (number of participants at previous editions if applicable)

9. Any special requirements regarding logistics (e.g., poster stands, audio equipment).

10. Eventually a draft of the Call for submission
