[CogSci] Postdoc at UC Merced modeling the cultural evolution of social identity

Ahoy!

Postdoc at UC Merced for Fall 2023 (2-year contract) for a NSF-funded
project modeling the cultural evolution of complex social identities and
associated signaling strategies. Looking for folks with math- and
agent-based modeling chops and interests (and ideally experience) related
to cultural evolution, social identity, cooperation, etc. Models are meant
to motivate and test parallel empirical research led by Adrian Bell at the
University of Utah on identity signaling in the Pacific Islander diaspora
in Utah.
