Hello,
We are conducting a systematic review of literature on children's learning from overhearing. We would like to include as many studies as possible, and are requesting unpublished data, including but not limited to posters, dissertations, or unpublished articles, that meet the following criteria:
1. Written in English
2. Experimental or quasi-experimental in nature (i.e., not a literature review)
3. Features infants and/or children between 18 months and 12 years of age.
4. Measures learning of social information like group attitudes, beliefs, or social norms OR learning of non-social information like object labels, facts, or directions/instructions.
5. Compares at least one overheard condition to a direct condition OR compares two or more overheard conditions
If you have any data that you believe may fit these criteria or could direct us to others who may have relevant unpublished data, please contact Megan Norris by July 1st at:
megan.norris at louisville.edu<mailto:megan.norris at louisville.edu>.
Thank you!
Best,
Lauren Girouard-Hallam and Megan Norris
