The Research in Spatial Cognition (RISC) Laboratory at Temple University, directed by Dr. Nora Newcombe and Dr. Thomas Shipley, is hiring a full-time research assistant to work 40 hours per week on Temple's main campus to coordinate research on spatial learning and cognition. The individual will be responsible for management of day-to-day lab operations, including research grants administration and accounting, management of IRB protocols, recruitment of study participants, stimuli design and creation, supervision of undergraduate research assistants and more. They will also have the opportunity to collaborate in research projects of their choice. This is a 2-year grant funded position. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least 6 months of directly related experience working in research setting.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:
* Computer skills and proficiency with MS Office
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, writing, and organizational skills
* Ability to interact with a diverse population of participants.
* Familiarity with basic statistical tests
* Working knowledge in learning, memory, cognitive neuroscience, and/or spatial cognition

This position requires a background check.
This position requires Child Abuse Certifications prior to the commencement of service.
This is a grant funded position.
