*DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, TRINITY UNIVERSITY*: Full-time, tenure-track
position *(assistant professor)*, beginning August 1, 2023 in *Social*
*Neuroscience*.  The successful candidate will be capable of developing an
active research program with undergraduates, resulting in peer-reviewed
publications.  Specific areas of research could include the mechanisms by
which experiences of interpersonal discrimination impact physical and
mental health; how one’s standing in a social hierarchy influences their
neural, physiological, and behavioral responses; and electrophysiological
mechanisms or measures of stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination. Teaching
responsibilities include First-Year Experience, Principles of Psychology,
Introduction to Neuroscience, Sensation and Perception and courses in the
area of specialization (e.g., Social Neuroscience; Psychology of Bias).  TU
has robust Psychology and interdisciplinary Neuroscience majors and the
candidate could influence the direction of these majors. More information

This search is part of a cluster hire focused on Building Inclusive
Communities, which seeks to recruit, amplify, connect, and empower
teacher-scholars whose work contributes to addressing the grand challenge
of building and sustaining inclusive communities.  Additional tenure-track
faculty positions will be advertised as part of the cluster, with the goal
of recruiting a diverse interdisciplinary faculty cohort whose research,
experience, and interests will benefit from collaboration and intentional
