[CogSci] Advertise two postdoctoral positions

Two postdoctoral positions available at the GIScience Center, University of
Zurich. Both projects are related to the ways in which landscapes are
conceptualised and valued in writing and language.

The first position is funded by the Cogito Foundation as joint work between
Ross Purves (University of Zurich) and Asifa Majid (University of York). In
this
project, we will examine how landscapes are represented in the minds of
people from different European cultures using linguistic stimuli based on
collections of landscape terms in different languages and non-verbal
stimuli using images. More details here

The second position is embedded in the ValPar (valpar.ch) project, and has
a focus on analysing ecological infrastructure in Swiss parks using text.

position has a strong methodological focus on the development and
evaluation of methods to extract relevant information from unstructured
text.
