Job Summary

Purdue University’s Department of Psychological Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured Associate Professor position focused on Human Decision Making. The position will begin in the Fall of 2022. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct original research, mentor students, and teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. Qualifications

The candidate must have a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology or a related field by the position start date. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate the ability and/or potential to publish high-quality research, obtain external funding, and excel in teaching and mentoring. We seek candidates who conduct basic and/or applied research in human decision making, broadly defined. The ideal person would use advanced research methods and quantitative approaches to conduct basic research on decision making and also study decision making in applied domains, such as health decision making, organizational decision making, or clinical decision making.
