We are looking for both a postdoc and a research assistant to work as part of a collaborative team to investigate how approximate Bayesian inference, particularly sampling algorithms, can be applied to explain individual and group behaviour: https://sampling.warwick.ac.uk/.

Both positions are for two years. They will be based in the Department of Psychology at the University of Warwick which, along with Warwick Business School, has a large number of researchers interested in the computational modelling of behaviour (https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/psych/research/behaviouralscience/ and https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/wbs/subjects/bsci/).

Warwick is located in the heart of England, a few miles from the centre of Coventry, and on the border of Warwickshire: https://warwick.ac.uk/about/visiting/region/. There are excellent transport links to London and other major cities.

The closing date for both positions is September 10th. For full information see: https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/CIH273/ (postdoc ad) and https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/CIH592/ (research assistant ad).
