NSF has several important funding opportunities for mid-to-large-scale interdisciplinary proposals, including ones led by cognitive, behavioral and social scientists. Sciences in these disciplines are not always aware that they could be submitting proposals and, if they are aware, may not have any experience developing proposals at larger scales or be sure how to build an interdisciplinary team. Arthur "Skip" Lupia, NSF Assistant Director of the Social, Behavioral, and Economics Directorate will host a webinar to share information about current NSF-wide opportunities in the Convergence Accelerator <https://lnks.gd/l/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJidWxsZXRpbl9saW5rX2lkIjoxMDMsInVyaSI6ImJwMjpjbGljayIsImJ1bGxldGluX2lkIjoiMjAyMTAzMjYuMzc3NzIxNTEiLCJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL3d3dy5uc2YuZ292L29kL29pYS9jb252ZXJnZW5jZS1hY2NlbGVyYXRvci8ifQ.v2bRkxp9hSqdT21TFwW1Pe6CofdC7KkGJ64Rno-o1Og/s/957204365/br/100724482175-l> and Mid-scale Research Infrastructure 2<https://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=505550> programs for researchers in our fields.

The webinar is on April 15 at 4:00 p.m. ET. You can Register Here<https://www.nsf.gov/events/event_summ.jsp?cntn_id=302446&WT.mc_id=USNSF_13&WT.mc_ev=click>.

Federation of Association in the Behavioral and Brain Sciences (FABBS) encourages members of the Cognitive Science Society and other relevant societies to attend and learn more about these opportunities. This NSF webinar follows a FABBS conversation with Dr. Lupia on April 6. Slides from that conversation are available here<https://fabbs.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/FABBS_NSF_Mid-Scale_for_SBE.pdf>.

Please feel free to reach out to Juliane Baron (jbaron at fabbs.org<mailto:jbaron at fabbs.org>) with questions about either webinar.
