[CogSci] PhD Position at the Center for Cognitive and Decision Sciences in Basel

Dear Cognitive Science Society,

The Center for Cognitive and Decision Sciences at the Department of Psychology, University of Basel, Switzerland, seeks applicants for one Doctoral Position (3 years). The position is available from January 2021, but later starting dates are possible.

Candidates will be working under the supervision of Dr. Dirk Wulff (https://www.dirkwulff.org) and should be interested in studying individual and age differences in cognitive and decision processes using network analytics and computational modeling.

The ideal candidate holds a M.Sc. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or a related field, has solid knowledge of research methods, and aspires to a scientific career. Knowledge in scientific programming in R or Python and computational modeling is desirable. Applicants will be part of an international group and an English-speaking environment. The yearly salary will be about 47,000 Swiss Francs (approx. 43,500 Euro).

The successful candidate will be part of the Social, Economic, and Decision Psychology Doctoral program, which offers a number of additional training opportunities, expert workshops, and funding for visits abroad. For more information: https://exp.psycho.unibas.ch/swedoc.
