Social Science Research Coordinator:
Interested in language, cognition, and development? The Department of
Psychology is looking for a full time Research Coordinator. This is a one
year fixed-term position with possibility of renewal. The RC will assist
with empirical work on language learning, play, social development, and
cross-cultural cognition. Duties will include assisting in designing,
creating, running, and analyzing experiments with infants, children, and
adults (including experiments delivered using web-based platforms),
frequent e-mail/phone communication, scheduling and record-keeping, and
participating in lab events and meetings.

Other optional opportunities: The RA may have opportunities for scientific
involvement in conference presentations and journal articles. The position
is ideal for individuals who wish to further their research training.

RA should have working knowledge of MS Office. The RA must have great
organizational and communication skills. S/he must be a quick learner,
shows initiative and can work independently. Previous research experience
with children is strongly preferred. Additional technical skills such as
programming (Python or R for data analysis, JavaScript/HTML/CSS for web
programming), statistical knowledge, and/or behavior coding and analysis
(e.g., datavyu/Elan) will be a plus.
