Dear Colleagues,

The Department of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University is excited to announce its 4th Summer Research Experience for undergraduate students from underrepresented minority groups!

This program is funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (U.S. Department of Education), National Science Foundation, and the Department of Psychology at CMU.
It provides research opportunities to members of underrepresented groups (Alaska Natives, Blacks or African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders; first-generation college students; economically disadvantaged students; veterans; and students with disabilities) who are considering graduate training in the field of learning science, cognitive science, or related fields. Students will spend 8 weeks during the Summer 2019 in a research laboratory at Carnegie Mellon University. Each student will receive a fellowship stipend of $3000 and apartment-style housing will also be provided. This program supports our commitment to training a diverse set of leaders in the field of learning science, cognitive science, and related disciplines.

Additional information and application instructions are available here: https://www.cmu.edu/pier/research-undergrad/index.html
The deadline to apply is March 4, 2019. Please encourage your students who are eligible for this opportunity to apply!

Apologies for cross-posting.

Thank you,
Anna
