[CogSci] Phd position on the influence of the outcome on predictive learning

The Department of Psychology, AE Associative Learning, is currently
accepting applications for a PhD student position, employed as Research
Assistant.
The position is in the project "The influence of the outcomes on predictive
learning", which investigates effects of experienced unpredictability of
events on learning, motivation, decision making and attention (Thorwart et
al. 2017; Griffith & Thorwart, 2017). It provides the opportunity to
investigate the fundamental mechanisms of human behaviour within an
international research group and in close collaboration with research
partners in Australia. The successful candidate will gain extensive
experience with human behavioural and eye movement experiments as well as
acquire proficiency in general research methods (e.g., coding/programming).
Typical responsibilities include coding, conducting, analysing and
publishing already planned experiments as well as developing own research
questions and planning experiments to answer those.
