<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship supported by National Science Foundation grants related to bilingual speech perception and production. The fellow will collaborate with
Ann Bradlow and Matt Goldrick to develop novel phonetic corpora, conduct perceptual experiments, and utilize a combination of corpus phonetics methods and machine-learning based techniques to analyze speech. The position is open, and applications will be considered
immediately.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The fellow will work in collaboration with other postdoctoral fellows and research assistants at Northwestern, and research teams at collaborating institutions: Technion University (led by
Joseph Keshet) and the University of California at San Diego (led by Tamar H. Gollan). The project will support travel by the fellow and other opportunities for professional development.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Desired qualifications include experience with corpus phonetics techniques (corpus design, acoustic phonetics, Praat scripting or other computational methods for phonetic analysis), experimental
design, and data visualization and analysis with R. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Applicants can start as early as October 1st. The position is for one year, with the potential for renewal for a second year. The pay rate will follow NIH postdoctoral fellow stipend levels.
