Language and Cognition Lab</a></u></b></span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> (Director: Dr. Caroline Larson) is accepting applications for a funded PhD position at the University of Missouri through the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program or College
of Health Sciences. Full tuition is covered along with a 12-month stipend (up to 5 years of study) and annual travel for meetings.
<b>The project aims to test bidirectional relationships between language and visual cognition in toddlers at risk for autism and developmental language disorder longitudinally. </b>It is part of a large-scale international project that will provide an integrated

rotations and coursework relevant to the project spanning four departments and student funding opportunities. There are seminars and gathering opportunities to foster intellectual and research collaboration amongst faculty and students. INP faculty conduct
research at the Cognitive Neuroscience Systems Core Facility, which offers multiple neuroimaging technologies including fMRI and EEG, lecture series, and interactive workshops.</span></div>

in Health & Rehabilitation Science</a></u></b></span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> in the MU College of Health Sciences (CHS) is an interdisciplinary, research-focused doctoral program, with mentorship provided by faculty from seven departments, including
Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences; Occupational Therapy; Physical Therapy; and Public Health. Students engage in interdisciplinary health science courses and build an individualized plan of study including courses from related disciplines across MU. Annual
funding to support conference travel is available. The college has increased research expenditures by 90% in four years and hosts regular seminars on research, professional development, grantsmanship, and structured mentorship. It houses an Office of Research
to advance the CHS research mission, such as through technical and grant support. The

Seminar) and offers clinical master’s and research doctorate degrees.</span></div>
