appointment, we seek a candidate who uses advanced quantitative methods to

machine learning, including generative artificial intelligence (e.g., large language
or vision-language models) to understand human perception, attention or cognition.

interested in a scholar whose work lends itself to novel collaborative

particularly interested in scholars whose research focuses on language or

encompasses doctoral programs in Cognitive Science, Clinical Psychology,
Integrative Neuroscience, and Social and Health Psychology. Available resources
relevant to the position include the Stony Brook University Institute for
Advanced Computational Science (IACS), the Institute for AI-Driven Discovery
and Innovation, the Institute for Engineering-Driven Medicine, and the Social,
