<p class="xmsonormal">The postdoctoral Principal Researcher position is designed to foster research collaboration in behavioral marketing; cognitive, mathematical or social psychology; and behavioral economics, with a focus on consumer decision making. The
preferred start date is September 30, 2024, although we are willing to accommodate an earlier or later start. Applications will be evaluated beginning on May 1 and ending on July 1 or until the position is filled.

<p class="xmsonormal">The postdoctoral Principal Researcher will collaborate on projects of mutual interest with faculty at the Booth School. They will be working closely with Professors Dan Bartels, Abigail Sussman, and Oleg Urminsky, as well as other behavioral
marketing faculty. Duties will include the development of original research questions, conducting literature reviews, and the design and implementation of studies to investigate those questions. Specific activities will include participating in study design,
data acquisition and statistical analysis, manuscript development, and presentation of results and co-authored publication in academic journals.

<p class="xmsonormal">This position is for one year, with intended renewal for a second year. This position is intended to help prepare the Principal Researcher to subsequently apply for research-oriented faculty positions in behavioral marketing.

<p class="xmsonormal">The Principal Researcher will design, program, develop, test, and implement complex web-based surveys in online and in-lab settings. They will collect, clean, code, and analyze complex data, and write up the results of experiments. They
will perform literature reviews and meta-analyses, and compile citations. The Principal Researcher may also perform some administrative lab management tasks, like handling participant payments and reimbursements.
