Dear Colleagues, <br><br><div>The Language Learning and Meaning
Acquisition (LLaMA) Laboratory at Purdue is hiring a research assistant to
support recruitment and data collection at our department's satellite
laboratory site in Indianapolis, IN as part of NIH-funded studies on
language learning and development. <br></div><div><br></div><div>This
position could be a great fit either for someone with scientific
interests in language development who seeks to enhance their research
profile before attending graduate school, *or* for an individual who is
seeking a longer-term research-oriented post. The candidate will
contribute to a multi-year longitudinal project of language development.
Therefore, individuals who are interested in making a multiple-year
commitment to the position will receive stronger consideration. The
individual in this position will also participate in recruitment and
data collection with individuals with language disorders and delays, and
will interact with and participate in outreach with families who are
typically under-represented in research. I encourage individuals to
share their commitment to diversity and their interest in research with
clinical populations in their cover letter. </div><br><div>Individuals in these positions receive ongoing training and are encouraged to participate in professional development that is
tailored to their interests and goals. Ideal start date would be in Summer 2024, but earlier or later start dates could be considered. <br></div><div><br></div>Details and application link:
