<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Department of Psychology at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time, one-year visiting assistant professorship in Cognitive Science to begin on
August 20, 2024. The appointment is annually renewable for up to three years, contingent upon performance, budget, and continued need.
<span style="color:black">A Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a closely related field is required and must be completed prior to the start date.
</span>We are particularly interested in candidates with a specialization in Psycholinguistics; however, other subspecialties may also be considered. Applicants should be qualified to teach courses in cognitive science, psychological statistics, and research
methods. The ability to teach courses in psycholinguistics and neuroscience is also desirable. The teaching load is 4-6 courses over two semesters and will vary according to whether the course has a lab component.
