<b>Assistant Professor of Psychology</b> beginning August 1, 2024. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in Psychology or ABD.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.25pt;background:white"><span style="color:black">We seek a psychological scientist with training and research in basic or applied psychology, broadly defined, with a preference for cognitive, neuroscience, health,
or industrial-organizational psychology. Having the ability and willingness to work collegially is essential, as is a demonstrated understanding of the interdisciplinary curriculum in the liberal arts tradition.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.25pt;background:white"><span style="color:black">As part of a five-course teaching load, candidates will be expected to teach some combination of undergraduate courses in Introduction to Psychology, research methods,
upper division psychology courses in the candidate’s area of interest, and other courses in the interdisciplinary general education program or core curriculum.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Candidates should demonstrate responsiveness toward and understanding of diverse student backgrounds, especially with regard to socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, culture, ability/disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity

an active research program that can meaningfully incorporate undergraduate student collaborators from diverse backgrounds. Priority will be given to candidates with the demonstrated potential to publish or present findings with undergraduate co-authors.</span><span style="background:white;mso-ligatures:standardcontextual"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
