The Department of Psychology at Mississippi State University invites applications for a tenure-

<div class="ContentPasted0">track assistant professor position in cognitive science. The anticipated</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">start date is August 16, 2024. The successful candidate will serve as a core member of the</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">cognitive science doctoral program and will maintain a program of research, seek external</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">funding, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and supervise graduate student research.</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">The department houses doctoral programs in both cognitive science and clinical psychology as</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">well as a large undergraduate major (http://www.psychology.msstate.edu). Mississippi State</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">University is the state’s leading research university with several centers and institutes receptive</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">to collaborative research. Mississippi State University is a land-grant R1 university located in</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">Starkville, MS, which is one of the three cities making up the Golden Triangle region (population</div>

<div class="ContentPasted0">128,000). The Golden Triangle is an ethnically diverse community with a low crime rate,</div>
