</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">The candidate must have a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology or a related field by the position start date, a strong publication record, and a research program with a high likelihood
 of obtaining external funding. </span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We seek<span style="color:red">
</span><span style="color:black">candidates who conduct research in cognitive psychology, broadly defined, and we are particularly interested in candidates whose research is at the intersection of Cognition and Technology.
</span>The ideal person <span style="color:black">would be knowledgeable in a specific area of cognitive psychology, use advanced quantitative methods in their work, and conduct research that has practical application in some domain (e.g., health and well-being,
 human-technology interactions in the workplace, augmenting learning or cognitive performance with technology). The successful candidate will have substantial opportunities to collaborate with faculty within the Department, the College of Health and Human Sciences
 (HHS), and with STEM disciplines across campus, such as Industrial Engineering, Engineering Education, Computer Science, Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering, the Serious Gaming Center, and/or the Connected and Autonomous Vehicle hub in Discovery
