The position involves collaborating with the PIs (Melanie Mitchell of SFI and Melanie Moses of UNM) on research and on planning and participating in workshops on several topics related to broad concepts of intelligence. </span><div class="" style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;"><p class="">Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. (by the start date) in an area related to AI or cognitive science and should have broad interests in these fields. The position will last up to two years, subject to performance and available funding. </p><p class="">The start date for the position is flexible, but with a rough target of January 2021.
