<div class="">Lancaster University’s Department of Psychology is one of the top psychology departments in the UK. We have four core research groups (Infancy and Early Development, Language and Cognition, Perception and Action, Social Processes), and strong
interdisciplinary links with linguistics, computer science, health and medicine. The Department actively supports open science initiatives, including the development of good research practices, regular meetings of our Open Science group (<a href="https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/psychology/research/open-science/" class="">https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/psychology/research/open-science/</a>),
and the embedding of research integrity within our curricula and postgraduate training. </div>

<div class="">We are currently advertising 4+ fully-funded PhD studentships across all areas of psychology. </div>

<div class="">Briefly, we are advertising for one Faculty of Science and Technology Studentship (any area of psychology), and two Faculty of Science and Technology Studentships linked to the Leverhulme Trust Doctoral Scholarship Programme in Interdisciplinary Research
on Infant Development. These Faculty studentships provide funding for 3.5 years. We also welcome applications for +3 and 1+3 (Masters + 3 years PhD funding) for the ESRC’s North West Social Sciences Doctoral Training Partnership. The deadline for applications
for ESRC and faculty studentships is<b class=""> February 3rd, 2020</b>. </div>

<div class="">There is a further studentship linked to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie network on Early Language Development in the Digital Age (e-LADDA), which has the earlier deadline of <b class="">January 24th, 2020</b>. In all cases, successful applicants are
expected to commence their PhDs in October, 2020. </div>
