Newark Campus, directed by Drs. Elizabeth Bonawitz and
Vanessa LoBue are currently recruiting a full-time Lab Manager to
coordinate and conduct developmental research with infants and children. The
lab manager will be responsible for recruiting and overseeing studies in both 
<u><span style="color:rgb(17,85,204)">Dr. Bonawitz’s Computational Cognitive Development

local schools and community organizations to recruit participants and organize
data collections. The lab coordinator will also be expected to (1) play an
active role in training and supervising undergraduate researchers, (2) carry
out administrative duties, such as daily record keeping, data management, and
equipment purchase, and maintenance of lab participant database, (3) coordinate
between two independent research labs, and (4) provide general support of
researchers.  The candidate will also
have the opportunity to play an active role in research by helping conduct experiments
with infants, children, and adults in laboratory and school settings. </span></p>

flexibility), with a 2-year desired commitment, further extendable depending on
fit. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related scientific field or discipline,
or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant research experience
and knowledge of general principles and practices within a discipline and
ability to use that knowledge for practical application. Administrative experience
and experience working with children is preferred. Strong organizational and
interpersonal skills, computer literacy, an ability to work independently, and
an interest in development are a must. The applicant should be comfortable
interacting with children of all ages, with undergraduate students, and
especially with parents and community members. Fluency in Spanish and/or
Portuguese is not required, but a plus.</span></p>
