<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">We seek a candidate who has completed a PhD or equivalent postgraduate research degree and has up to six
years of active postdoctoral research experience. These fellowships are usually awarded to candidates with three to six years of experience, but in exceptional circumstances we will consider recently qualified candidates with a stellar record or those with
more than six years of postdoctoral experience.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">This prestigious personal award is a Post-doctoral Fellowship funded by the Aotearoa Foundation to recognise
an outstanding emerging scientist who has shown the potential to be a research leader of the highest international calibre. The fellowship will assist them to develop an independent research programme and develop a career as a future research leader.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

and which bridge clinical and biomedical research spheres. The Post-Doctoral Fellow is expected to develop research leadership skills and research independence during the fellowship and the centre provides opportunities to assist in developing these skills.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
