the conference and are of high intellectual and scientific quality. Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and should not contain any tables or figures.</span></div>

<span style="-webkit-font-kerning: none;" class="">Topics should fit the usual ESLP remit of work that deals with embodied and situated language processing across a range of disciplines (including cognitive science, psycholinguistics, cognitive linguistics,
developmental psychology) and empirical methods (including behavioural, neuropsychological, and computational). As a focus in the 2018 conference, we particularly welcome submissions that address the fundamental issue of conceptual grounding and how meaning
is learned and represented in the mind/brain. To ensure the future of the field, research findings must be as robust as possible. The 2018 conference will also feature a special session on methods and reproducibility in embodied cognition research and we welcome
submissions that address issues in this area.</span></div>
