        applications for a two-year, non-renewable Florence Levy Kay
        Fellowship in
        Philosophy and Neuroscience, beginning Fall 2018.<span
          style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>The Kay Fellow will be
        appointed as a faculty
        member at the rank of lecturer with a joint appointment in
        Philosophy and
        Neuroscience.</span></p>
    <p class="Normal1"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%"> </span></p>
    <p class="Normal1"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%">The
        ideal
        applicant will have an educational background in philosophy and
        neuroscience,
        and a demonstrated ability to foster formal and informal
        conversations among
        philosophers, psychologists, and neuroscientists.<span
          style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>The postdoctoral fellow
        will actively pursue
        his or her own research and teach one course per semester,
        including a course
        in Neuro-ethics, while participating in and contributing to the
        intellectual
        life of the Philosophy Department, Neuroscience Program and the
        Brandeis
        community.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Applicants
        must have a Ph.D.
        in hand by the start of the fellowship.</span></p>

        fellowship
        includes a salary of $57,500, plus benefits, with moving
        expenses (around
        $1,500), and a research fund of up to $4,000 per year.<span
