Fellowships and Executive Branch Science Fellowship.</span> <a

Hill working as special legislative assistants in a U.S. House
or Senate office. The Congressional Fellows bring their
psychological expertise to bear on a diverse range of
policymaking activities, such as drafting legislation, writing
speeches, meeting with constituents and outside groups, and
conducting background research. One Congressional Fellowship

for a psychological scientist to work as a special assistant in
a federal agency on issues ranging from science policy to
research administration. Each fellow's year-long placement is
tailored to the individual fellow's interest and expertise. Past
placements have included the National Institutes of Health,
National Science Foundation, Department of Justice, and U.S.
Agency for International Development. Our current APA Executive
Branch Science Fellow is placed at the Department of Education,
