<p style="text-align: justify;">The University of Florida invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in neuro/psycholinguistics at the rank of assistant professor, effective August 16, 2018. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in linguistics, psychology,
or a closely-related field, and a primary specialization in neuro/psycholinguistics. Candidates must hold the Ph.D. by the starting date.

The successful candidate will be expected to 1) maintain an active research agenda, 2) apply for and obtain external research funding, 3) teach four courses per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate level, 4) provide service to the department, the
university, and the profession, and 5) collaborate with faculty in other units on campus, such as the McKnight Brain Institute.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Linguistics Department at the University of Florida is a vibrant and congenial unit consisting of 9 full-time faculty and 11 affiliated faculty in the departments of Anthropology; Languages, Literatures, and Cultures; Spanish
and Portuguese; and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. We offer a B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in Linguistics, as well as an undergraduate minor in TESOL and a graduate certificate in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching. We have faculty expertise in a wide
range of linguistic subfields with specializations in language documentation, African linguistics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and the core areas. UF Linguistics will be hosting the Institute on Collaborative Language Research (CoLang) in Summer 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Evelyn F. & William L. McKnight Brain Institute is one of the world's largest research institutions devoted to the brain. It houses several research-dedicated MRI scanners, among which two 3T scanners for research with human
