Dear all,
We are delighted to announce the Call for Abstracts for the first ever *IRCA
Conference* on Aphantasia, devoted to *interdisciplinary perspectives on
Aphantasia.*
The conference is going to take place on 2–4 september 2026, in Glasgow,
UK.
Aphantasia is a phenomenon in which people report having no mental
imagery, typically visual mental imagery. This 3-day interdisciplinary
event will bring together researchers from psychology, neuroscience,
philosophy, and related fields to discuss, collaborate, and advance our
understanding of aphantasia.
We warmly invite you to submit an abstract before *17/04/2026 for talks or
posters.* You may

broad question from various angles such as cognitive and perceptual
processes; representational and metacognitive approaches; neural and
methodological approaches; developmental, clinical, and mental health
perspectives; Philosophical and theoretical questions.
