[CogSci] New book on AI minds and consciousness

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the publication of my new book, The Illusion
Engine: The Quest for Machine Consciousness, aimed as a philosophy of AI
mind textbook.

What if the line between hallucination and consciousness were not a
boundary but a bridge? The book explores that question through philosophy
of mind and artificial intelligence, aiming to make philosophical ideas
accessible to engineers and technical foundations accessible to
philosophers. It combines conceptual analysis with a detailed look at how
deep learning and transformer architectures actually work - from Descartes
to weight matrix multiplication.
