Dear colleagues,
I would like to share a reminder about the Placebo, Hypnosis, and
Functional Disorders Conference, which will take place in Nancy, France,
October 14-16, 2026.
The conference will bring together researchers and clinicians working at
the intersection of placebo/nocebo, hypnosis, and functional disorders. It
aims to foster dialogue between fields that have often developed
separately, despite addressing closely related questions regarding
mind-body interactions.
The scientific committee has extended the deadline for abstract submissions
to *May 31*. Contributions may include experimental or clinical studies,
theoretical work, methodological papers, literature reviews, case studies,
and comparative analyses.
The keynote speakers include Anne Harrington, Quinton Deeley, Laurence
Kirmayer, Ted Kaptchuk, and Jon Stone. The program is designed to leave
substantial room for scientific exchange through symposium sessions,
posters, roundtables, and informal discussions.
Further information about the conference, submission guidelines, and
registration can be found here: https://www.phfd-conf.org/en/
I encourage you to consider submitting your work and to share this call
with colleagues who may be interested.
Kind regards,
Urte Laukaityte
