Fully funded PhD (FPI) — Multimodal Language Modeling
Daedalus Lab, University of Murcia (Spain)
4-year contract (public employee), start Jan–Feb 2026, ~25k€/year + 
benefits. Work on how gesture, prosody, and language interact, using AI 
pipelines (computer vision, speech, NLP) and large video corpora.
Skills (both to bring AND to learn during the PhD): Python/R, 
statistical modeling (e.g., GAMs/NAMs), data visualization, Linux, 
corpus/NLP, computational speech/gesture.
International network, funded travel/equipment, no mandatory teaching; 
options with MULTICOM and MULTIDATA.
