*Data Specialist Position at the Bergelson Lab, Psych. Dept., Harvard,
coming ASAP!*
Our lab is seeking a new full-time staff member for our most technically
savvy position (Data Specialist). The details of the position are here
<https://drive.google.com/file/d/16J2JArEifbUjxjmuPDSOdFhiuDPPnqvL/view?usp=sharing>.
The position is currently on the Harvard HR internal portal
<https://hr.harvard.edu/careers> (position id 68266BR) and will be live for
external applicants soon. We are circulating information so that candidates
can indicate interest directly; we will follow-up with the link once it is
live (by end of May, per HR posting requirements).

We are keen to fill this position ASAP and encourage applicants who meet
the requirements to apply!
Applying requires:
1) a cover letter describing your qualifications for this job (duties
detailed in the link above)
*N.B. This letter should describe why you are interested in the position
and how you fit the qualifications at the link. Some might call it a
'motivation' letter.*
2) a CV (including relevant technical skills, coursework, github
repositories, etc.)

*The cover letter and/or CV should include links to code you've written
from scratch; this is a programming-heavy position.*
*The CV should include contact information for 3 references.* (References
will be contacted for relevant applicants at a later stage in the hiring
consideration process.)

To streamline the application process, we ask that you email Dr. Bergelson (
elika_bergelson at fas.harvard.edu) and Zhenya Kalenkovich (
zhenya_kalenkovich at g.harvard.edu) with an *email titled "Data Specialist
Applicant*" and include the two attachments above.

Once the position is live, we will consider applications on a rolling
basis *starting
ASAP! *Strong applicants will be interviewed over zoom. *We hope to hire by
Mid-June (ideally with an early summer start date)*, with some flexibility.
This position will be in person in Cambridge, MA;* it is not a remote
position*.

Prior individuals in this position have gone on to a variety of successful
careers in and out of academia and industry, and have the opportunity to
engage with the content of our work, spearhead projects, write them up,
present at conferences, etc. We are happy to answer questions from
potential applicants at the same emails above.
This is a one year position with possibility of renewal. We look forward to
your applications, and feel free to forward widely!
best,
Elika
