[CogSci] Call for PhD applications: Psycholinguistics and Neurobiology of Language

Dear all,

QUT’s HDR Annual Scholarship Round (ASR)<https://www.qut.edu.au/research/study-with-us/scholarships/applying-for-scholarships> is now open for PhD scholarships commencing in 2026.

These research scholarships provide a stipend to help cover living expenses, as well as tuition fee sponsorship (waiver) for international students.

We have several projects<https://www.qut.edu.au/research/study-with-us/student-topics/topics/psycholinguistics-and-the-neurobiology-of-language> available for PhD students in our lab<https://research.qut.edu.au/lcbs/> in sunny Brisbane, Australia.

These include projects investigating systematic form-meaning mappings and their impacts on lexical processing, mechanisms of spoken word production, and language impairments in pediatric and adult patients with brain tumours.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area, such as experimental psychology, psycholinguistics, or cognitive science/neuroscience. Experience with data analysis and programming in R and MATLAB is desirable.
