Dear colleagues,
We’re excited to invite submissions to an upcoming special issue of Infant
Behavior and Development, titled
*From Daily Life to Data: Synergies in Sensing and Computation for Studying
Infant Behavior in Context.*
We invite submissions focused on infants (0–36 months) that address one or
more of the following areas:
• Statistics of infant behavior and experience in real-world and
naturalistic free-flowing settings
• Feasibility and acceptability of mobile and wearable sensing with infants
and caregivers
• Innovations in high-density data collection (e.g., new sensors or
integrated systems)
• Machine learning and AI approaches for behavior recognition and
classification
• Multimodal data integration and high-dimensional analysis
• Theory-driven uses of mobile sensing and computational modeling of
high-density data
• Translational applications of sensing for clinical or behavioral
interventions

Please submit *abstracts by September 15, 2025 *and full manuscripts by
January 31, 2026.
Apologies for cross-posting.
Looking forward to your contributions,
