Dear All,

*** Please help me spread the news by forwarding this to people who may be
interested ***

There is an exciting opportunity for two students to pursue a funded PhD
with Angelo Pirrone, Nathan Evans, Giovanni Sala and Konstantinos Tsetsos
at the University of Liverpool, starting in October 2025. The project has
received funding from the Leverhulme Trust. UK/Home students only.

Home student fees are included together with an annual stipend equal to
UKRI rate of £19,985 from 1st October 2025, research funds and funds to
attend conferences and workshops.

The PhD students will focus on using meta-analysis and state-of-the-art
techniques from different computational areas to shed light on the
fundamental mechanisms of decision-making.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong computational
skills (e.g., computational models of cognitive processes, machine
learning), experience in programming and advanced statistical methods.

Kind regards,
Angelo
