[CogSci] 3-year PhD position in social-cognitive development

The Department of Developmental Psychology at the University of Göttingen offers a
Ph.D. position in developmental cognitive science (all genders welcome)
beginning October 1st, 2024 (or later). The salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale (65%, E13 TV-L) for three years.

Research background
The Department of Developmental Psychology investigates cognitive development in infancy and early childhood with a special focus on social cognition. The PhD position will be part of a project that investigates the relations between social and modal cognition.
Requirements

  *   Excellent degree in psychology or related cognitive science discipline
  *   Background in experimental, developmental and/or comparative psychological research, with excellent statistical skills
  *   Experience in experimental studies with children are strongly desirable
  *   Excellent English language skill
  *   Excellent German language skills are strongly desirable
  *   Interest in teaching in Bachelor and Master courses in developmental psychology
