[CogSci] Summer 2025 Research for Undergraduates in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University

The Human-Computer Interaction Institute is looking for talented and
motivated undergraduates to join us for Summer 2025 conducting novel
research at the edge of design, behavioral sciences, and computing
technology.
Students in our summer research program will work closely with mentors.
Some example topics of research for Summer 2025 include:

Active Learning in STEM Education
-
AI-Assisted Conflict Resolution for Policy Changes
-
Intelligent Agents for Security
-
Human-Centered Data Science and Visualization
-
Workplace Surveillance Tracker
The program runs for 10 weeks, from May 27, 2025 to August 1, 2025. *Students
receive a stipend and support for housing, travel, and food.*
Ideal applicants are rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors, with strong
skills and/or interest in one or more of visual or interaction design,
behavioral sciences, or software or hardware development.
Students who do not have access to research facilities at their home
institution are particularly encouraged to apply. Previous research
experience is not a requirement. Note that a majority of the funding for
this program is restricted to US citizens and residents, though any
undergraduate students studying in the US may apply.
