[CogSci] Call for Postdoc in Psycholinguistics and Cognitive Modeling

The Innovation Hub Europe, a new foundation made possible through funds 
from Tecnológico de Monterrey and the government of Cantabria, Spain, is 
seeking a full-time postdoctoral researcher in psycholinguistics to 
begin immediately. The chosen applicant will work closely with Research 
Professor Karl David Neergaard on a project that seeks to design 
cognitive models from experimental data to aid in the construction of a 
computational mental model that can track the development of linguistic 
knowledge throughout a learner’s progress. The ideal candidate will have 
experience with a number of paradigms, including word learning, verbal 
fluency, and/or sentence comprehension. The salary for the position is 
between €27,500 and €30,500 gross per year, depending on qualifications.

- PhD in linguistics, psychology, computer science, or closely related 
field
- Evidence of scientific publications, including as first author, in 
journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science
- Proficiency in Python and/or R
- Evidence of experience in experimental linguistics, from design, 
recruitment, and analysis
- High level of proficiency in English and working knowledge of Spanish
- Preference given to applicants with experience in cognitive modeling 
and interest in the Open Science Framework
- Ability to research in person at the Educational Innovation Lab in 
Comillas, Cantabria, Spain.
