8th Lancaster International Conference on Infant and Early Child Development (LCICD 2023)

 will be held live in Lancaster, UK on  23-25 August, 2023.

NEW: On August 22 there will be a pre-conference workshop run by Ingmar Visser:

Detecting (categorical) individual differences in developmental data: Mixture models, latent class models and Markov models for studying change



Call for Conference Abstracts



We are inviting abstract submissions for talk or poster presentations. As before, the conference is single-track, with high visibility poster sessions in their own designated time slots, and an excellent communal spirit in which everyone from early-career PhD students to senior researchers has 2.5 days of lively interactions.



Abstract submission deadline: 21 April 2023  



Abstracts should be up to 400 words incl references (please note that we have changed our submission system and entry will be into a text box; not figures can be added). We invite abstract submissions from all areas of infant and early child development (age range: pre-natal - 4 years). Full details for submission can be found on the conference website http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/lcicd/ .



The conference will run from Wednesday 23 August morning to Friday 25 August early afternoon UK time, with the pre conference workshop on Tuesday, 22 August. It will focus on research in infant and early child development and reflect the breadth of methods used in this field. Once again we aim to bring together scientists across all career stages.
