Dear CogSci community,
We are delighted to announce an upcoming workshop entitled, “How does the
mind discover useful abstractions?” at CogSci 2023 in Sydney, Australia.
Prior to the in-person workshop, we’ll be hosting a series of one-hour
virtual seminars over Zoom, bringing together a wide range of researchers
studying topics related to abstraction in different cognitive domains, and
exploring ways that cut across these boundaries. Attendance is welcome to
anybody interested, particularly those of you who may not be able to make
it to CogSci in-person this year.
