[CogSci] Hiring Instructors for Online Intro Cogsci @ MSU

Hello,

The Philosophy Department at Montclair State University seeks instructors
for two accelerated, undergraduate sections of Introduction to Cognitive
Science for Spring 2023 (approximately 3/15 - 5/15) and/or early Summer
2023 (late May - July.). The sections would be taught asynchronously online
through a mix of Canvas assignments and pre-recorded lectures. More
information will be made available to candidates as the application process
advances.

Requirements: Applicants are required to have an MA, MS, or PhD in either
cognitive science or affiliated discipline (like computer science,
linguistics, neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, etc.) by the time of
appointment. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Course content: In keeping with the core tenets of the Cognitive Science
program at Montclair, we seek instructors prepared to offer a
multidisciplinary introduction to cognitive science. The course should in
some way give students a sense of how the variety of disciplines that
comprise cognitive science as a field contribute to (among other things)
understanding the mind/brain as a kind of computational system that
underlies perception, cognition, and behavior. See basic catalog
