Postdoctoral Position at Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore

Dear colleagues,

We are looking for a postdoctoral research fellow to join the Language and Social Cognition Lab (PI: W. Quin Yow) at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) to work on a project funded by Temasek Labs. This project aims at developing a trust model in human-robot interaction, which will be used to design feedback mechanisms for better human robot teaming. The position is for two years, with a possibility of a one-year extension subject to performance and availability of funding. The target start date is October 2023, with some flexibility to start later if needed.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field, with a strong background in cognitive and/or quantitative research. Those with expertise in behavioral experiments, eye-tracking, modeling, and/or experience in research in human-robot interaction would be a particularly good fit at this time. The postdoctoral fellow will work with an interdisciplinary research team from psychology, engineering, computer science, robotics, and human robot interaction. Our lab has many resources including testing space and equipment (e.g., Tobii Spectrum, Tobii Glasses, NIRS device) that the postdoctoral fellow will have access to.
