The theme of the Institute is Linguistics As Cognitive Science, and there will be many courses that could be of interest to the cognitive science community. Registration is open for the 2023 Linguistic Institute<https://blogs.umass.edu/lingstitute2023/> of the Linguistic Society of America (LSA)<https://www.linguisticsociety.org/>, themed “Linguistics as Cognitive Science: Universality and Variation.” Eighty-eight courses are offered and taught by leading researchers, including both introductory courses and state-of-the-art seminars.
