[CogSci] Posdoctoral Fellow in Cognitive Science at The University of Michigan

The Weinberg Institute for Cognitive Science at The University of Michigan
invites applications from creative, highly qualified and motivated
researchers for a two-year postdoctoral position. We welcome applications
from researchers working in all areas of cognitive science spanning
linguistics, philosophy, neuroscience, and related fields such as computer
science / AI and psychiatry. The position is primarily a research
appointment, but also involves annually teaching one cognitive science
graduate or undergraduate seminar or coteaching with a UM faculty member.
The beginning date of the appointment will be September 2022, but starting
January 2023 is negotiable.

Applications should include a cover letter, a research proposal, one page
teaching statement and contact information for 3 references. Research
statements must specify how the applicant’s research will integrate with
and benefit from ongoing cognitive science research conducted at The
University of Michigan.  For example, the research proposal could make ties
to the research interests of faculty from the Departments of Linguistics,
Psychology, Philosophy, Computer Science and Engineering and/or The
Neuroscience PhD Program, or related disciplines. Please combine all

site. The successful application will hold a Ph.D.  in any area of
cognitive science and have a demonstrated record of high quality research.
